“it'll be okay”

he was my everything

“you’ll get over it”

i hope

“it only hurts this bad at the beginning”

it’s been a month

when will the tears dry

when will the memories fade

----------------------------------

when will i see him again

when can i hold him like i did

i'm gonna call him

“that's not a good idea”

i'm rereading the texts

“you shouldn’t do that”

if i tell him i’m in love now, we can go back to normal

“let him go”

----------------------------------

i’m trying

to un-see the sparkle in his eyes

to un-feel his gentle touch

to un-hear his velvety voice

to un-taste his smooth lips

to un-smell his favorite cologne

but i'm trying

and that’s all i can do
