Wistful weeping willow branches sway 

The pond I was so fond of now rots as our bonds fade  

The marsh marigold now over comes you 

The frail fall leaves disintegrate  

Green algae, dark mud, tall cattails 

Snap! 

A large, slimy, and angry camouflaged snapping turtle 

lunges for your toes
