Lonely Holidays by Cate Dorsey

Do you ever miss someone during the holidays more than you thought?

Someone you wish was here but is not?

You miss their jokes, laugh, and smile,

But since they’re not here you just live in denial.

You wish they were here with us, to celebrate and laugh,

But instead of living life like it’s whole, you’re living it like it's half.

I miss you more than you could ever know,

But I never want to let you go.

I know I need to,

But I just hate living without you.
