MEET THE TEAM
Meet the team who put together this year's literary magazine.
Sara Davis
Sara Davis is the art editor of the Literary Magazine. She is a junior also involved in Spanish Honor Society, National English Honor Society, and she is an officer in the National Honor Society. In addition, she coaches Scholar Bowl for the middle school teams, and works with music and fiction writing in her free time.
Madeline Lloyd
Madeline Loyd is an editor of the Liteary Magazine. In addition to the Lit Mag, she is the president of the Creative Writing Club and co-president of Book Club. She plays violin in the Concert and Symphonic Orchestras and the SIUE Suzuki Program. She spends her time learning languages, Arthurian Literature, and reading. She is a junior.
Alyssa Ragsdale
Alyssa Ragsdale is an editor of the Literary Magazine. She is a sophomore and has been a part of Lit Mag for the past two years. In addition to Lit Mag, she is an officer on student council and a podcast host for the Tiger Times; she is also a member of French Club and Interact Club. She enjoys reading, writing poetry, and listening to Taylor Swift.
Sydney Dmochowski
Sydney Dmochowski is a junior at Edwardsville High School. She is part of the Lit Mag staff. Sydney is involved in EHS' EPIC, Animal Rescue Club, and is a part of National Honor Society. Outside of school she enjoys painting, reading, listening to music, and volunteering
Macy Hildebrand
Macy Hildebrand is a Junior at EHS and a staff on Lit Mag. She is also the president of the school’s Environmental Club, involved in National Art Honor Society, and volunteers at a local bakery. Some of her hobbies include painting, reading, and running.
Caroline James
Caroline James is a Sophomore and it is her first year working on the Literature Magazine. She is also involved in many other activities after school including Key Club, Debate Club, Ethics Bowl, and Thirst Project. Caroline dances at a local studio where she studies Ballet, Modern, and Jazz. She loves literature and poetry and has greatly enjoyed working on the magazine this year.
Rain Jennings
Rain is a junior on staff at the Literary Magazine.
Sami McKenney
Sami McKenney is a Sophomore and this is her first year as part of the Literary Magazine team. Outside of school, she practices Ballet, Modern, Jazz, and Hip-Hop at Turning Point Acadamy of Dance. At EHS, Sami is Treasurer of Art Club and a member of Ethics Bowl, Women's History and Empowerment Club, French Club, and French Honors Society. She spends her free time reading, painting, writing for journalism, and listening to music.
Abigail Stacy
Abigail Stacy is a junior and this is her first year in Literary Magazine. She is involved in Podcast Club and Symphonic/Marching Band alongside Lit Mag. Primarily, Abigail is involved with art submissions but occasionally enjoys poetry because of her sister's never-ending poetic musings.
