dear old friend,

i cannot believe

you’ve come again

you’re back to visit

and yet your reasoning

i deem so inexplicit

i must say

your consistency is something

i could never repay

i admire your solidification

to destroy

my mothers creation

it would be acceptable

if you did not

make me feel so skeletal

my energy you strip

and with it goes my ability

to maintain any relationship

i feel so betrayed

as it is my comfort zone

you invade

so let me ask again

do you understand the deep state

of enervation you put me in?
